Welcome Rains Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Welcome Rains

Rating: 4.9

Sea-sons showered pains,
Injured knee on trousers stains,
Still thanks if it rains.

Fine rain washed greenery,
Leaves from nature's refinery,
Poet paints a scenery.

A wet summer dressing,
The naughty rains so tressing,
For me a wet blessing.

A pleasant rainy night,
Things look so lovely and bright,
No pains of day light.

Titillated eyes smile,
Write in her glassy profile,
In rains she's fragile.

Lovely poem.... It flows like small rivulets on window panes during a torrential down pour!

Fine rain washed greenery, Leaves from nature's refinery, ...painting of poet the scenery of nature to wash out pain of mind and fill happiness in mind is definitely interesting step. Writing in glassy profile rain withstands with dream and reality...10

Excellent rain-drenched landscape arising out of the poet's lyrical words along with giving vent to poet's own delicate feelings. Thanks for sharing.
