Welcome To The End Of The World Poem by Electric Tripp

Welcome To The End Of The World

When the moon shines on your face
can you feel the warmth?
When the moon shows you the path
will you see where it goes?
When the moon has grown dark and cold
will you live in the ages of the old?
When we have moved into darkness
will you find the light

When the sun glows brightly in the sky
do you think about the day you die
When the sun shows their soul
will you run away, or keep them close
When the sun has grown old, and bright
will you forgive me for my sins
When we have moved into sunlight
will you look for darkness

Waiting at the end of the world
Searching for the answer
Waiting for divine plans to unfurl
Will you wait with me, are you sure?

When the moon and sun have become one
When the darkness becomes the light
When the war is won, and we don't have to fight
When the moon is blue
and my words have become true

Will you stay inside, cowering in fear
or will you welcome the end of the world with a cheer

The Moon appears in the east
The Sun rises in the west
As the world counts to ten
And the Sun and Moon become one
Our fears, Our hopes, Our dreams
Reality, and imagination hold hands
Cast into darkness, engulfed by the void
Welcome to the end of the world
