Welcome To The Promenade Poem by Justin Gildow

Welcome To The Promenade

Rating: 5.0

Welcome to the Promenade
Come in and let's sit down
Let's have crackers and green tea
Little May is playing her melody
Flawless and beautifully

So much has happened to us this year
So much to talk about
But we know it's all too much to say
So let's get up and dance
Let's look toward and dream about the future

The night is shrouded in mist
Slowly you turn to me and kiss
I always wanted to say I love you
Now I can, to you

The night is gliding by tonight
Yet the moon and stars remain in sight
Out here tonight we're content with where we are now
Welcome to the Promenade
