Well I Love You, So There's That
Why do I push everyone that cares away?
No matter how lovely they are
No matter what sweet things they say
I always push everyone away
What is in me that repels everyone I love?
Whether it's a best friend or my lover
My sister or my brother
I repel everyone I love
Who am I to use the ones who care?
until one day I don't share
I use the ones who care
How have I not learned?
To care for others feelings
To take care of what we earned
I have not learned
Where was I when you needed me most?
I am the only one to blame
I left my position as host
I wasn't there when you needed me most
When will I finally give in?
I have to stop fighting
I have to stop barking and biting
I have to give in
Answer me now
Tell me how
Well I love you, so there's that
