POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Web-toed little baby sister,
Everyone was jealous of you.
Natation must be easy, true?
Daddy, Mommy, always kissed her,
Yet the rest of us did, too.

Last but not least, she is
One of a kind, as are all of
Us in this enduring family.

Poem 5 in my Sibling Project

(Revised 23 December 2014)

Resubmitted 01 November 2020 using my new method of putting the poem in the poet's notes area and putting a sentence in Spanish or Portuguese in the poem area. So far, this has kept PH from adding a video/soundtrack.

Somewhere in my files I have pictures of my sister, but am unable to find them at the moment. Meanwhile, I got this picture from her son's Facebook page. This is her son and daughter-in-law and three of her grandchildren. Betcha can't help smiling at this picture!

(Would you believe that her son has no pictures of his mother or father on his Facebook page? He does have pictures of his grandparents!)
