Were going on a trip soon,
Won't be back for ages,
Take care of yourself ok,
where are you going?
Asks the child,
On a 3 week trip to north cape,
We will be back,
But you can't go i'll miss you,
And will worry till you get back,
You know i worry,
I will miss you to,
Says the father,
But this trip was planned before i met you,
I can't back out now,
But the child was upset,
OK tell you what you let me know your ok,
Somehow and you can go,
So that's what he did,
But what the child had remembered,
The quicker it was over,
The quicker he took her out for that meal.
