What A Blessing Poem by Shalom Freedman

What A Blessing

Rating: 5.0

WHAT A BLESSING

What a blessing
To be able to sit and look
At the sun on the grass
To be able to take my time
And slowly survey
The changes of the light and sky

How wonderful to be old
To know one has done one's work
To not have to rush
To be happy just to rest
And look in peace
At the beauty of God's world.

After having performed all the allotted duties through out an eventful life, it is indeed a time to sit back and enjoy the blessings of God which we otherwise do not take note of. Thanks.
