What A Butt Kissing World (Apologies To Louis Armstrong) Poem by Biff McGuire

What A Butt Kissing World (Apologies To Louis Armstrong)

I see politicians walking on air
With his hand in the pocket of some billionaire
And I think to myself, what a butt kissing world

Young men go to prison for habits they’ve stopped
Judges son’s up on charges, they’re magically dropped
And I say to myself, what a butt kissing world

Money and drugs changing hands every day
I know for a fact this is not our lord’s way

I see fools go to college sponsored by a rich dad
With intelligent teens dropping out, it’s so sad

And I say to myself, what a butt kissing world!
