What A Quizzical Smile Tells

Rating: 5.0

Can you take or leave quizzical smiles?
do you find them teasing or pleasing?
are they questioning or mocking?
suggesting puzzlement or shocking?

do you find the wearer eccentric odd?
or shy would you say playfully vexing?
or ridiculing perhaps rather bewitching?
are inquiring sardonic smiles so displeasing?

could it be wearers of quizzical smiles watching?
are lonely behind emotive puzzling masks?
frozen with fear or inhibitions consider plight?

of perplexed exhibiting symptoms of bewilderment?
confusion difficulty in language actions frozen?
paused by perplexing state of this frightening world?

or waiting for a kind word?
hoping to venture forth?
from former imprisonment shells?
so much a quizzical smile tells!

so much a quizzical smile tells! A mulitude of sins can be hidden behind a quizzical smile. I think you cover all the bases. Nicely Done Annette.
