' ' ' ' ' ' What Are Words Worth? Poem by Dónall Dempsey

' ' ' ' ' ' What Are Words Worth?

Rating: 2.8

I wandered lonely
in a crowd

despite a host
of golden daffodils

fluttering & dancing
outside a florist's window.

I wandered lonely
in a crowd

lost now
in the beauty

lost now
without the beauty

of
your eyes.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Loneliness is not the absence of people it is the absence of quality relationships. Well done my friend. You have put a new twist that is worth it's weight in words...

I like the playful romantic style of your last poems, after reading the last five poems of you today - it became my mood - playful romantic. I guess the same will happen to all your true readers.
