What At My Age Can A Purim Poem Be? Poem by Shalom Freedman

What At My Age Can A Purim Poem Be?

What at my age can a Purim poem be?

The small children the grandchildren
The gratitude for their very existence
For our being here in Israel

Hamans there are in spades
But we are here
Stronger than before

A prayer that the younger generations
Will go on to good and blessed lives

For generation upon generation
When I am no longer here
The people of Israel will thrive
And bring goodness and blessing to the world.
