What becomes of a girl
Who became a loner
Because she lost her jewel of inestimable value
And at the time she needed her most

What becomes of a girl
Whose only memory
Lies in the pictures
Hung on her silent walls

What becomes of a girl
Whose mother was taken
By an unpredictable death
At the time she barely knew her

What becomes of a girl
Who wanders as though she is lost
Because she has questions
Nothing but time could clarify

What becomes of a girl
Whose life was transformed
Because she was forced to take another path
As the grave swallowed her most benevolent benefactor
