What Do You Feel Poem by Angel Jordan

What Do You Feel

What is it about you?
What is it about me?
Is your heart true?
Why do your eyes plea?

Just one more dance,
and maybe one more hug.
Being with you; it's like a trance,
sometimes even a drug.

Hear the rythm of my heart,
see the fear in my eyes.
Maybe this isn't smart,
but you'll never hear any cries.

Maybe we're in love,
maybe it's infatuation.
It's as harmless as a dove,
just a sensation.

If this is so,
tell me what can I do?
I just have to know,
do you feel it too?

Is it just a ruse,
a made up notion?
I'll be the one to accuse,
my thoughts in motion.

What do you feel?
Do you understand it?
Yeah, i guess wounds do heal.
Please, don't leave me stranded.
