WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ONE COMES TO THE END OF THE ROAD?

What happens when one comes to the end of the road?
When one has done what one has done
And can only do more of the same-
When one is stuck where one is and can only go one way- down?

What happens when one has come to the end of the road?
And is forbidden to take the easy way out?
And one knows one is only going deeper into sickness and frustration failure and pain?

What happens when one comes to the end of the road?
And there is still much time and space ahead
In which one must live?

A hard life it is
And a harder one it is going to be.
