What He Stoled Poem by faith toney

What He Stoled

She screams out in her dreams
to wake up to dry tear stains along her face
only to prepare to roam the halls
she tries to avoid at all costs
but on the rare occasion she see’s him
her body set to a steady shake
the body way of showing fear
she walks by ashamed
her head hangs low
she talks to no one
she remember it all the time
that one night that changed everything
the night he stole her innocence
she didn’t give it up it was taken from her
she blames her self
when what she doesn’t realize is that it wasn’t her fault
she goes home to stay along with the doors locked
the fear of returning to the halls and rooms tomorrow
if she see’s him will she every stand up for her self

Arielisa's sentiments are mine exactly, even the statement that I understand this poem from experience. It was a nicely done poem, too.
