What I Did Today Poem by Vera Sidhwa

What I Did Today

What I Did Today

Today I mesmerized all people in the world
With my love, love, love.
That is what they needed badly.
They just sat there sadly, sadly, sdaly.

I smiled and smiled and smiled at them.
Some radiantly smiled back, some mildly.
I picked up the ones lying on the pavement
From use of alcohol and use of drugs.

I kissed and hugged the children so
They would kiss me back and hug me too.
I mesmerized them with my smiles.
They mesmerized me with there.

I realized this world was wide
And I had a lot of merriment to give.
I wanted this world
In happiness to live.
