What I See Tonight Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

What I See Tonight

Rating: 4.8

A diamond may sparkle and shimmer,
A river might run mighty and freely,
I could travel the world and see wonderful sights,
But I could never find such beauty
As what I can see tonight.

I may enjoy the sun's warm glow
Or the moon's gift of purity,
But I want you to know
I could never find such a beauty.
No where on earth or in the heavens is there such a sight
Quite like what I can see tonight.

Not in the clear sky,
Not in the ocean's blue.
That, my love, is just one of the many reasons why
Nothing compares to you.
