I remember the past so well, the nights I’d hold
You close, and the way our hearts would beat as one.

I saw nothing more than you forever, nothing less
Than happiness in your eyes.

I felt the warmth in my heart from the spark you caused,
Not knowing if I should put it out or let it burn…

It was feelings like this that made my love for you
Deeper than anything I’d ever felt.

And without you… there was a stillness in life a darkened and
Even colder place. As if you had been the reason the earth
Turned and the sun rose.

But even more important without you in my life
I would have never found true love…

What if all this was real, rather than just a dream of yesterday?

Had these feelings been felt together or just in my world?

What if the future had plans for love we never saw coming would
You chance it or dream again?
