Through and through
Can't believe what's happened

Staring on
Can't get past
All the things we once were

Miss the times
Innocent and free
Blissful children
Happy-go-lucky

Running 'round joyously
Always falling over and tripping
But not once did we weep

And say we did
There were people to catch us in their comforting arms
Let us sleep

When nightmares came
They were right next to me

We had people
There were people to catch us

What do we have now
What is this between us
How do you describe our relationship

What is this we have now
This tension building up in me
This hole that's getting bigger
This darkness set to consume me
This fire burning up to an inferno

Looking on
Through and through
Can't believe what happened to me and you
What's happened to the world
The peace that never comes
Oh wars and revolutions just go on and on and on

Staring on
Can't get past
How I still don't know you
The struggles behind us
All that is past

Beyond that face
Beyond my face
What do you know

Miss the times
Innocent and free
Happy teens just texting
Staying up past midnight

Laughing hard 'til it hurt
Leaning on each other for support
When we fell we fell together
We didn't cry
We just got up to fall again

In it all together
Couldn't be torn apart

Say we got in a fight

Friends to catch us
