What Should I Say To God? Poem by Leaking Pen

What Should I Say To God?

What should I say to God?
If She comes down
Asking for my light
Lost years ago
Between agony and ecstasy
Somewhere in Time.
What should I say to God?
If She insists again
To fetch my light
Which I misplaced
In the library of my soul
On the wrong shelf
To dusty books
With fading pages
Whose moral lines are ignored
And their Words are hardly read.
What should I say to God?
If She persists again
For the light of my calling
Detoured by my journey
To fate's hammer banging!
What should I say to God?
When she knocks
With her reaper's fists
On my aging doors
Broken glass windows
Crumbling columns
Heavy footings
Uneven flooring
In my broken homes.
What should I say to God?
As She commands my light away
To eternal darkness and
My eyes are closed forever.
