What To Wear? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

What To Wear?

Attending a wedding that is only a week away
What shall I wear… already bought two outfits
One is of turquoise, the other a drab gray
I may decide by what the weather permits...

Short sleeves or long…scooped neck or V
It doesn't matter… I could wear a burlap sack
It is bride's beautiful gown that everyone will see
Should have left my choices on the rack

Think I'll wear an outfit I call my number one
A selection I wear when giving congratulations
No one will remember after the evening is done...
I'll return recent purchases and avoid frustration
