What Was A Cube Of Ice To You? Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

What Was A Cube Of Ice To You?

Foreseeing ice is melting,
in this that there vision of cold,
that is of ice is melting,
but to me, triples of gold.
What was a cube of ice to you?
The frozen due of lake?
I'm hoping that the gold I see,
Is protruding too, for YOUR sake.
Ask me some centuries ago,
the ice that was seen melting,
the ice that made my heart be frozen,
and the gold was a crying metal,
in which colours I had not seen,
until the ice was frozen,
a secure place of gold that's duplicating,
and finally producing a mould.
