What We Miss Today Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

What We Miss Today

What we miss today

Poet
Can’t remain quiet
As it is not his nature
His mind is really matured

Not things around
But lot more is found
From far of places
In all the cases

The plight of people
The long drawn struggle
The hidden tears from refugees
When thousands leave home and flee

Who shall feel for all these helpless?
Only poet in all such cases
He has pen to cry with
And tell people about miserable deaths

As human being
The heart bleeds and sings
With choked voice
What we all miss today?
