What Will You Then Do Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What Will You Then Do

Rating: 5.0

Long after these times lived are gone,
And you have discovered your points of view
Of these times have been wrong.
What will you then choose to do,
With what has been found?
Will you hold your head high...
Or bow it to the ground?

Long after you have decided,
Someone else was not up to par.
And by accident,
You uncovered their deeds were barred.
How will you then feel about yourself?
After you shamed them...
And they were the ones
Who protected your wealth!
What will you then do...
When it is learned,
They did their best for you?

Hindsight, unfortunately is not the 'sight' by which upon our initial actions are made!

Most times someone who has made decisions like this will never admit their mistake or show any signs of remorse.... Alison
