What Would I Have Been Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

What Would I Have Been

I would have been the liberator
Poorer among poor and sufferer
Struggling for survival
To come out the life of animal

Yes, what normal man may do under yoke?
Receive the slashes and cruel jokes
From the soldiers of cruel army
Under the law of occupancy

I get hint of consistent repression
That might have been let loose by aggression
I faintly recollect the face of tyrant ruler
Who was o become so much unpopular

I turn out to be outlaw
Against the repressive laws
The population offer passive resistance
I rush to hem with possible assistance

I would have remained benefactor
To fight for the with honor
I go back with outlaw theory
And think why was it to important to wage and carry?
