What Your Man Wants To Hear Poem by Matt Ransom

What Your Man Wants To Hear

Rating: 5.0

You are too sweet
Much sweeter than I remember
Did you lose your cynical edge along the way?
Or has age and the love of a good woman tempered you?
No matter
I like it
And you could always make me laugh
Brains and humor
that has always been my 2 biggest turn-ons when it came to men
How come we never made a go of it?
I tried to think back to that summer after we graduated
and my memories are kind of fuzzy
But didn't we have awkward sex at your house one day?
And then I remember that you got back together with her shortly after?
And then I remember reconnecting with you
thinking I would like to visit the Amusement Park again
and you were busy being some girl's sex slave
Please fill me in on the details
I am trying to figure out how my charms failed to subdue you.

I'm a poet and didn't know it. I rhyme often.
