*wheel Of The Year (10/28/2013) *

Imbolc's here; at winters end
purification and divine springs mend.
And so the cleansing of life's new year,
it all starts by the Moon's shedding tear...

Thus the day shall overcome the night,
its all here due Ostara's might.
Another coven to praise on Earth,
promulgating the vegetation rebirth.

Ritual of light is Beltane's trance-
gossamer threats on Maypole's dance.
Aw Queen May, continue the pits burn,
Make it last like the Wheel's forever turn!

At last the summer reaches its height,
Father Sun; this is your longest bright!
One of four is this radiant day,
Midsummer is only that far away...

And thus comes Lammas with the autumn tree,
where we shall harvest bread in the image of Thee!
Here I conjure the grains congeal,
To add Lughnasadh in the wheel's seal.

Let us thank the lady of the Moon
and Horned Lord Death for soon-
For soon we shall share the fruit of life.
On Mabon we'll get the blessing of Thy wife!

Abacus counts seven, Welcome Samhain!
Let us respect them as we bear their pain.
The festival of Darkness, time to honour the dead.
A coven of thirteen? to relief our dread...
Tonight- Lit the sky with five-pointed stars,
The thinnest veil between us and them afar...

So the wheel turns another Yule;
A perfect circle under Thy rule!
The full Moon guides all us witches,
As Thee refills our soil with riches...

Now we've witnessed the Horned God reborn

-and no longer burden a camphor heart,
But it rather canters and again Thee'll depart...
