When A Bubble Pops Poem by Saiom Shriver

When A Bubble Pops

Some of the properties of
a bubble, when it pops,
disappear. It is no longer
spherical, nor does it contain
air, when it returns to the sea.
But its spiritual totality, its
essence, remains.
In the same way, when the body pops,
the soul returns to God.
