When a Poem does not Happen...

I feel sometimes life's so prosaic
To render it some color, a poem should happen
To give wings to dreams, to add sapor
To moments, ideas hover in the arc of thoughts
Like birds so willful not easy to catch
And to put in the cage of words
Reflections awry all go astray
Not following a fixed path
Are loath to be chained in rhymes
Hopes of writing a poem are dashed
My thoughts dance like ghosts on my desk!

Poems are subtle feelings in words
And feelings are the threads that together make life, good or bad or prosaic as you put it.
I would certainly want to catch those ghosts of thoughts.

    Well done.
    Just Beautiful.
