When A War Ends Poem by Pramiti Upadhyay

When A War Ends

Rating: 2.5

The valleys full of animals,
Grazing, happily the grass.
With their hairs dancing,
Due to the wind pass.

The waterfall full of white ducks,
Having among them a race.
Flapping their wings,
Floating with water at a pace.

The green trees all around,
With their newly sprouted leaves.
The spider crawling on them,
The web it weaves.

I wish if it could happen again,
After this deadly war.
But its just a dream,
The reality lies behind far.

Nice theme. You would do well to put less emphasis on rhyme and more on rhythm, the natural flow of the imagery.
