When Christ said turn the left cheek
Whom did he mean?
Whomever he meant he wasn't weak
To target certain people on the scene.

When Christ said he amongst you
Who is without sin let him cast the first stone
Who did he have within his view
Only those before him or others later to him unknown.

When it was said God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
What was or is the sort of certainty
Meant for those who would be in a rage?

If we put ourselves in the position of Christ
Would we bear out other people’s faults?
We probably can’t even have the right
When people’s mistakes are measured in vaults.

So let us all take example
Life’s things are meant for us to learn
One day we are given one sample
That helps avoid a lifelong wrong turn.
