When, dumb people scream for HELP
they search for a trumpet to blow
for a listener to hear, and a smile-
to show its teeth.
For the fingers to wave to them a welcoming hand.
When dumb people screech for help
they weep at night
or hmm, to the nightingales and for the owls
to watch them suffer.
When all they need is love, love, just love.
they need a wing, to be rescued in silence.
they need a shelter, a roof to look up to.
When dumb people; form a river
thundering their lungs out
they need a mountain to climb onto
and someone to stand with them side-by-side.
Opening eyes, ears, and moving tongues advising, them -
be strong, stronger than the helpers. and the ignorant ones.
