When Emily Is Lost Poem by Princess Kathleene Gabunales

When Emily Is Lost

hungry voices traveling inside your head
not knowing who they are
unfamiliar faces-unrecognizable and tainted
closed windows in an empty house
lost in the woods
to find and will
if Emilia would
there is tenderness in your faces
but scattered memories
turn the tables around and see on the other side
soil is getting stronger
where to build brigdes and columns
try to hold on a single breath
echoes of the past they come running
escape from the trap of suffering
eloping is not a way of chance
truth and lies
pity the pure hearted
the young and innocent
who's story is yet to be shown
unknowingly murdered by judgement
like a leaf blown by the wind further and more
this is not a city
where people walk around in doubts
a lost puppet
with curly hair-red lips-and hum like a bird
she cries...in the midst of a festival and towers
no empty corner not a single post or a canal is alone
everyone is staring
broken and unfitting
if only skin are to be sewn
there could be faith
it is unintended
trust and forgiveness
she cries...she cries...she cries
scolded, hurt, painful events-they go further
unhappily walking down the streets of Olive
embrace loneliness
again voices inside your head
a smart and meaningful smile in the end.
