When Hearts Repent

Living careful, walking steady
Doing what one's allowed
Lord Jesus, will I be ready?
Will You take me in Life's cloud?

I know I've sinned, fallen to shame
I've said and done things wrong
Alone, I know that I'm to blame
Singing the devil's song

Lord You know I've begged Your pardon
How many tears I've cried
Let me walk in Heaven's garden
Beneath Your wings still hide

You know how I was, how I am now
How yearningly I pray
Wholeheartedly You see me bow
Seeking salvation's Way

Yet still, my God I have failed You
Hear my soul once more
Allow me join Life's chosen few
Close not! my Father's Door

With my head bowed, both knees now bent
In utter deep remorse
With heart and soul I now repent
Please help me tread Life's course

Now Your Word, conditions my day
My morning, noon, my night
Living with You, walking Life's Way
Keeping Heaven in sight

Lord, I feel my spirit warming
Hear Your voice inside
Your love, Your grace informing
Forgiveness, has replied.....
