When I Am Dead! Poem by Robert Kallend

When I Am Dead!

Rating: 5.0

Who will care when I am dead?
Body broken, without coffin bed.
The ultimate end that comes to us all,
The loss of life, the impeding fall.
The rushing of wind, that sound of air,
Shame that life was never fair.

The blood it trickles out from my eye,
Replacing tears that I can no longer cry.
Blood is red, but also blue,
Death is inevitable for both me and for you.
Be not sad and do not dwell,
As all is happy and for you as well.

I may be gone but you're still here,
Live your life and do not fear,
Because all is not lost for you in life,
Do not get worked up, contort with strife.
I see that you will care when i'm dead,
Body broken, placed within coffin bed.
