When I Am Gone Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

When I Am Gone

when i am gone
You May judge me with your vengeance
you may judge me with your pity
you may judge
and you may decide
that i was no more a man
that i was no more a woman
than any of you.

that when i am gone
the empty sky
will still bear clouds

the sun will still shine
upon your smile
and when the days have passed
little by little

and you will be gone too.

But what will remain
is our memories
in voices
echoing through this land,
of rivers colliding into seas,
of mountains and deserts,

And they will not judge
Either you or me.
