When I Called You Poem by Vera Sidhwa

When I Called You

When I Called You

When I called you,
You were always there.
You were always there,
For me.

When I longed for you,
You were holding me,
And I was holding you.
We were together.

I spent nights dreaming of you,
And days daydreaming too.
You visage was like an angel's.
You were so good to me.

When I called you,
You came to me.
You made the living
Fine.

This is definitely in celebration of a sound relationship where the persons involved mean so much to each other. They mutually enrich their togetherness.
