When I Die Poem by Nidhi Jha

When I Die

Rating: 5.0

When I die don't put flowers on my grave.
For they'll loose their beauty on touching the stones.
When I die don't let your tears fall down.
For they'll leave your eyes dry.

When I die don't lament calling it a loss.
For its nothing compared to the peace I would gain.
When I die don't show any sympathy towards me.
For whom God loves, He calls soon.

When I die don't make monument for me.
For it won't give shed to any creature.
When I die don't put garlands on my frame.
For mine is not a face so beautiful to decorate your walls.

When I die just do me a favor,
And remember me for what I was.
As it would soothe my ears to hear that this was the girl- -
The girl if if not good was not bad.
