When Im All Alone Poem by jack green

When Im All Alone

Rating: 5.0

When I am all alone and all is quiet my mind drifts slowly away.
Walking the halls of my past, memories fill my tired worn flask.
Alone with my thoughts, the wrongs and rights, places a child once played.
I remember the dream's of a young lass, searching for love that will long last.
Found by time and trapped by age, reading from a book missing more than one page.
Old wound's time has healed, weigh heavy on my well earned scares
Memories of laughter some enraged, of following the course through life's long stage.
They haunt me now my future revealed and on my final day, each written in the stars.
Brought my memories they are all thats left, my soul has shed its skin.
A lifetime of passion, pain washed by tears. As a feather weighs all of the years.
Smile as all fades from dark to pure white, the beginning not the end.

life's memories are flashing back when you are alone and quiet this happens to many of us and it is nice thouhg that we are reminded of it because of this poem (just be careful with using 's when you make words plural)
