When It Rains It Pours Poem by CHAMEKKA JONES

When It Rains It Pours

Light Skin #10 was his name at our house
Phat Phat most memorable moment is of you and Clayton sitting on the couch

Eating a bag of cheese puffs making a big mess
When Man first saw you he was like, 'Dawg dat's a big baby! I bet he play for the West! '

The last time I saw you, you had just started walking
Still in pampers and was'nt even talking

As an infant you touched the hearts of everyone in our home
you went from the kids to everyone that was grown

You were a special child, just as sweet as can be
Everytime we made eye contact it was like you saw right through me!
Spooky! !

I would always wonder what were your thoughts
I guess you knew your time here would be short

I had just asked Nico about you and Taj 5 days before you left us
When I saw the news that day I was like, 'Dang dat's messed up! '

Not knowing that the child was you Light Skin #10
Until I called my sister and she told me then, that God called out for the angels to bring you in

You brought laughter and love in every heart you touched
we gone miss you Big Baby and we love you very very much

Your death was not in vain, even though its caused all of us a great deal of pain!
Keisha just keep calling on Jesus's name

Hold yo head up high nico
You don't have to be ashamed

Sometimes it pours when it rains
But trust we will see better days! !

Rest In Peace Keionn! !
