When No Road…. (On Bhagavadgita) Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

When No Road…. (On Bhagavadgita)

Rating: 5.0

When no road leads to harmony
When nothing synchronizes in sweet symphony
When disenchanted birds sing in acrimony
When flowery spring comes barren and unseen
When ‘hope’ squirms and the light is out-
I see the dormant ‘message’ revive,
The message which the Lord imparted to his friend
The mighty Partha on the battle ground.

Bhagavadgita......... is primarily a dialogue between Lord Krisha and Arjuna..... in the backdrop of Kurukshetra..... that I know! But I would like to know what message of hope was given by Lord Krishna when Partha's mind got muddled up with confusion and despair! A great prologue.... it would have been complete if you had mentioned that too!

Bhagavadgita which translate to song of the Bhagavan is a profound work with great philosophical significance. Kanav you should read it whenever you get time. I recommend the translation made by S. Radhakrishnan which is a compact book and all encompassing.

Indeed the Past could guide our souls towards better understanding of the present... Bhagvadgita is a claimed Celestial songs of the god or bhagwan, a document that could bless the million darken hearts.... A nice didactic writing...
