When Passion's Aroused

Passion’s aroused passion’s displayed
Bodies with love entwined
How is it then, with promises made?
Someone has change their mind

A simile of the church today
Some of the chosen bride
Walk for a while God’s chosen way
Feeling alive inside

Feeling perplexed highly adored
Losing the track of time
Knowing The Groom is Christ The Lord
Makes it much more sublime

The Grooms fair face began to glow?
Seeing the way we felt
Feeling the joy of love’s true flow
As hearts began to melt

The Groom had known ere time began
Has known what each would do
Seeing the heart of every man
Knowing who’s love is true

For all at once the cold set in
Bringing an end to peace
What was the cause what was the sin
That brought such love to cease

How was it so, when did it start
How did the joy take flight?
Satan alone could tempt the heart
Blinding from loves true light

Beware who call on Jesus’ name
The devil hears you too
But Christ will keep us safe from shame
As we, remain Him true
