When People Were In Trouble

It is the time to say good-bye, and good-bye we all say,
To year when many people rose and others at the bottom lay,
To the year which had hope, and the year which had despair;
When people were in trouble, strangers were to care.

It is not about the rain, it is not about the quake,
It’s all about humanity, which is not at all fake,
There were many who lost everything, with nothing to gain,
When people were in trouble, strangers didn’t abstain.

Many dreams were washed away, and others became true,
For some life was the end, and for some it was new;
Everything was destroyed with nothing left to spare,
When people were in trouble, strangers were to care.

There were many who had lost, their very beloved friends,
But nothing is yet over, because friendship never ends;
A time came in our lives, when we were not able to cope,
When people were in trouble, strangers gave them hope.

And now the year is about to end, leaving behind many stories,
People have in their minds, sweet as well as harsh memories;
We look forward to a whole new start, though we are in a trance,
When people were in trouble, strangers gave them a chance.

Who these strangers are, and why did they help in trouble,
Even when we were blaming them, they did never grumble;
Open your eyes, look at the sky, you can see someone nod,
They are not the strangers, but they are the God.
