When Someone Dies Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

When Someone Dies

Sometimes I wonder what were they thinking
Sometimes I understand and can relate
Sometimes I think maybe drugs or drinking
Sometimes I think it was fate

Sometimes I think will the same thing happen to me
Sometimes I think were they sad or happy
Sometimes I think I hope they knew God
Sometimes I just pray and nod

We will never know what exactly was happening
Until the day we enter into that eternity
So let us press on toward the final total
With the right intention seeking God's utmost goal

And let love be in our hearts and minds
As life gets darker toward the end times
