When The Doors Shut On You Poem by Anam Rizvi

When The Doors Shut On You

Rating: 5.0

When the doors shut on you,
When no hand gropes out for you.

When the joys of this world seem to ebb,
And the tides of gloom beseige you,
I'll be there.
Somehwhere in the deep dark corridors of these lanes,
I'll be there.

When you cry and no one wipes away those tears,
When you feel utterly lonely, blindly unhappy,
You will find me somewhere,
Somewhere in the passages of your being,
In your spirit,
In your love.
I'll call out to you,
And you'll know I'm there.
