When Things Are Hard...
When you are not able
To move your hand
I feel as if my own
Arm feels the pain.
Medical advance has
Made it possible
To provide new life
To a broken arm.
May the wound heal
And the joint settle
May you start your
Activities soon.
I am with you when
Things are hard
I'll be with you as
You make your progress.
Blessed are we with
Friends so many
Who all helped us
To move forward.
I understand the context of the poem. Hope she is recovering fast! When she is in pain, you feel the pain. Yes, that ability for empathy is the one that cements relationships, especially the one between a husband and wife!
Beautiful portrayal of love between two people, loving and taking care of a loved one, no matter what! Being as one, feeling pain of the other when they are going through a difficult time, just BEing there for them! That is an unconditional love to be sure. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
