* When Thunder Rolls Poem by Inner Whispers

* When Thunder Rolls

Rating: 5.0

Loud, explosive sound is heard
As air is expanded by heat, quickly contracted again,
Then a flash of light is produced, moving with a sudden lightning
A discharge of high-tension natural electric is seen into the atmosphere...
Rain may dropp heavily, as I had my peek at my window's grill.

And I chill...

For being here, standing still
Alone in the coldness of the night's fill,
Searching my soul, where it lies, where it belong
I can't deny, yOu still... I desire, I want, I long!

Your arms I wish to have
Caress me in this lonesome night, I crave,
Hear my soul that seek as I leap
On the couch near my window, I begin to cry, to weep...!

When thunder rolls and lightnings strikes
I wish to have you by my side,
Hold me, comfort me, kiss me tight
As I close my eyes, give you my heart, my love...
