When Where You Live, Is Not Where Anyone Should Go. Poem by Arianne Owens

When Where You Live, Is Not Where Anyone Should Go.

Rating: 2.0

My heart was finally drifting farther and farther away from a possible heart attack.
I whiped the sweat off my face,
held my breath, to stop my hard breathing.
I was finally out,
out of the forbidden darkness where no one should go.
But I was born there,
I grew up there,
the only way I knew how to live.
Now I was out,
out of evil's darkness,
in to Heavens light.

although a lovely readable poem that flows in like the tide and there is attached drama not to mention a bit of theatrics...i enjoyed reading it and more so trying the jig saw puzzle and plat...falling flat Contextually a bit challenged...i gave up. Sometimes its fun to do an early morning head scratch to get at a nicely wrapped enigma... Somewhat like guessing what’s in the neatly folded paper while sipping morning coffee with a distant focused eye... Cheers :) sat

This is a good poem..though there is room for improvement..if best is achievable, do not settle for good.
