When You Fall Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

When You Fall

Rating: 5.0

When you fall

Once I talked with a leaf
(Yellow, brown, wet, smashed)
"How are you; how is life? "
Breeze came with a sound
Sound of hiss; a snake
Some leaves left; we alone
Secretly; intimate; talk went on:
"Life is gone; it's normal, no complaint."
I, eager, wanted more; and was not satisfied.
"The pain is of the weight! "
I wondered
All I saw were drops
Just a few
Leaf too moved; then it talked.
Yawning like it smiled:
"Not of these; of blames, "
All ears I repeat the question.
And I heard:
"Now news, media, offices, parliament..."
I wished it would stop
I knew what it meant
When fallen come blames
Harassment
Like snow and the rain
Pour, steal, and storm.

Life is gone; it's normal, no complaint. I, eager, wanted more; and was not satisfied. The pain is of the weight! A beautiful poem depiction of a concern of a beautiful heart.I felt it in my heart. Well done Col Muhammad Khalid Khan
