When You Speak To Your God - Poem by Robert Kane

When you speak to your God
What do you say?
What words can describe
The heat you feel?
When your faith is stretched
And truth disconnects
And your pleas to above
Are unanswered
Except
By whispers below,
Subliminal chants,
And that heat,
Godless heat,
Eating your soul
Feasts on resolve
Like it's snow.

Really thoughtful poem. Going through a situation that your words truly speak to. Thanks for sharing. (Report) Reply
